My friend, Bo, and I hiked Observation Point, in Zion National Park. Bo and I prearranged this "date" almost 2 months ago, and though both of us had other things come up that could've conflicted, we were committed and went
(way to go us! hahah). Bo is just good people. He may think "being from Idaho" makes him "backwards", but I disagree. He's all around a good soul, and truly loves and cares about people, and I love that about him. He is someone, who "randomly" texts or calls me anytime I'm having a bad day. He started doing this almost from right when I met him (a little over two years ago), and I don't think it's coincidence- I think he's just more "in tune" with the Spirit than he knows. If you're going to be with someone for almost 8 hours straight,
(not of all the was hiking time, that includes drive time and a few stops) Bo's definitely a good person to pick. Conversation is easy with him, and we can go from funny random topics to more serious/ deep or spiritual ones. I'm totally comfortable with telling him anything, and I feel alright being totally casual in how I look
(as seen by the very minimal amount of makeup I'm wearing and my hair etc.) I'm so glad he agreed to come on this hike with me. It's a beautiful hike and something I'm so glad I could share with him. I think he could've gone faster without me at some parts, but we kept a good pace together and enjoyed the day. Thanks Bo for being awesome!
(P.S- No, Bo and I are not dating. We're just friends =). And, can I just say that when I made the goal to hike OP that I didn't know it was 8 miles roundtrip total? That was more than I expected, but it was perfect practice for my soon to come Havasupi trip, which is 10 miles one way).
